Support daily living in continuing care as a Personal Care Aide with AgeCare, assisting residents with bathing, meals, mobility, and treatments.

As a Health Care Aide, you will collaborate with the care team and work under Staff Nurse supervision. Your responsibilities include secure personal care, transfers, feeding, routine treatments, and movement throughout the facility. Care plans guide diets and resident support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with bathing, showers, washing, and comfort
- Move residents between beds, wheelchairs, commodes, and toilets
- Support meals and nourishment according to care plans
- Apply routine skin creams and bowel protocols as directed
- Accompany residents to appointments, programs, and facility functions

Requirements:

- Completed recognized PCA or HCA 2002-or-greater certificate course
- Active CLHA registration
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Continuing care or related experience preferred
- Post-secondary education considered an asset
