This entry-level Orica Canada position supports efficient magazine and yard operations at Blackwater. You will coordinate finished products, detonators, tubing, and raw materials under explosive transport codes, Safety, and Quality standards. The role offers training and exposure for future growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet Distribution Safety schedules and provide operator feedback
- Manage equipment breakdowns to minimize business interruption
- Maintain accurate magazine inventory and explosives limits
- Coordinate documentation and post-goods-issue communication
- Receive raw material deliveries as Yard Keeper
Requirements:
- Knowledge of distribution processes and quality systems
- Understanding of SHES policies and explosive transport regulations
- Hazard analysis and manual handling knowledge
- Class 5 driver’s license; Class 3 is an asset
- Ability to complete Orica Magazine Keeper Training
