Lead engaging recreation activities at Meadow Ridge Seniors Village with warmth, patience, and fresh ideas. Work seven days within each fourteen-day rotation.

As a Recreation Program Assistant, you will create programs that encourage participation and brighten residents’ days. You will build connections, support friendships, and tailor activities to interests, abilities, preferences, and recreational treatment plans. Accurate records, safety procedures, and collaboration remain central.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create lively programs that encourage resident participation
- Encourage friendships and celebrate individual interests
- Collaborate with families, volunteers, colleagues, and the IDT
- Participate in education, evaluations, audits,



and improvement initiatives
- Follow procedures protecting residents, visitors, and team members

Requirements:

- Natural ability to connect with people
- Previous recreation experience preferred
- Recreation Aide certificate or related education an asset
- Experience with seniors or healthcare settings an asset
- Class 4 Driver’s License preferred
