This Health Care Aide works within the care team to meet individual resident needs. The role provides basic care and services under a Staff Nurse’s supervision. Duties include personal care, transfers, feeding, routine treatments, and supporting resident mobility throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bathed, showered, and washed residents following care procedures
- Assisted transfers using ceiling lifts, mechanical lifts, and transfer belts
- Fed residents according to care plan diets




- Provided routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
- Escorted residents to meals, therapy, recreation, and social functions

Requirements:

- Recognized PCA or HCA 2002-or-greater certificate course
- Active CLHA registration
- Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
- One year of continuing care experience preferred
- Post-secondary education is an asset
