Validate insurance models in Toronto with TD, applying actuarial methodology, machine learning, and artificial intelligence modeling expertise. This position supports Enterprise Risk.

As a Data Scientist I, you will independently validate TDI insurance models and test FCRM models under management supervision. You will communicate limitations, prepare validation reports, and develop testing programs for advanced AI and ML models. The work supports business initiatives, regulators, and audit review.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct independent validation for varied TDI insurance models
- Test and analyze FCRM models under supervision
- Discuss model limitations with first-line stakeholders
- Deliver justified validation reports for audit and regulators




- Develop programs assessing advanced AI and ML models

Requirements:

- Degree in actuarial science, statistics, AI/ML, or financial engineering
- FSA, ACAS, or ACIA designation
- In-depth ML/AI modeling and programming knowledge
- Robust verbal, written, time, and project management skills
- Insurance pricing or validation experience is an asset
