As an EHS Specialist, you will provide guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees across shop activities. Your focus includes Alberta Occupational Health and Safety requirements, equipment and building inspections, job hazard analysis, ergonomics, and safety performance. The position spends at least 50% of its time on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure manufacturing follows company safety policies
- Inspect equipment and buildings for regulatory compliance
- Conduct job hazard and ergonomics analysis
- Report safety violations to operations leadership




- Support the joint EHS committee and management

Requirements:

- Occupational Health and Safety certificate, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
- Experience with workplace inspections and job hazard analysis
- Effective presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Industrial plant experience with substantial shop-floor presence
