Îyahrhe Nakoda Food Bank seeks a casual driver for a six-month contract. You will collect, transport, and deliver supplies between suppliers, the Food Bank, and distribution locations. The work includes scheduled monthly deliveries to Big Horn, Eden Valley, and surrounding communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and deliver donations, supplies, and essential items
- Complete scheduled deliveries to Big Horn and Eden Valley
- Operate the Food Bank vehicle and complete safety checks
- Load, unload, and securely transport food boxes
- Record deliveries, pick-ups, mileage,
and transportation activities
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and satisfactory driver’s abstract
- Ability to lift, carry, load, and unload heavy supplies
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills and commitment to protected driving
- Reliable transportation and schedule flexibility
