This package handler position supports parcel movement across sorting stations. You will unload trailers, verify freight against manifests, and organize shipments through manual and powered conveyors. The work includes scanning parcels, preparing orders, staging freight, and maintaining secure, clean areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests
- Feed shipments into manual and powered conveyors
- Sort and scan parcels according to sort plans
- Stage freight in designated load out areas
- Complete cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or 23 kilograms
- Availability for shift-based warehouse schedules
- Availability at least three days weekly
- Willingness to complete mandatory power jack training
- Ability to operate handheld devices and technology
