As Construction Safety Officer, you will support commercial construction teams under project superintendent direction. You will develop safety plans, conduct inspections, document compliance, and advise supervisors, subcontractors, and site personnel. Your work supports Ledcor’s goal of zero incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Verify implementation of Ledcor Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
- Conduct and document inspections for regulatory and policy compliance
- Identify corrective actions and resolve non-compliance issues
- Support incident investigations and provide safety education
- Organize required documentation, reports, assessments,



and meeting minutes

Requirements:

- Minimum two years of relevant health and safety experience
- BC Construction Safety Officer or National Construction Safety Officer designation
- Occupational First Aid Level 3 certification
- Understanding of occupational hygiene, ergonomics, confined spaces, and investigations
- Robust knowledge of commercial construction practices, techniques, and equipment
