Shape infant and preschool learning through storytelling, songs, crafts, and observation as an Early Childhood Educator. Work in a child-care centre supporting children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

This six-month temporary full-time position focuses on infant–preschool education and responsive daily care. You will develop learning plans, establish behaviour guidelines, maintain children’s well-being, and communicate progress or concerns to parents and supervisors. Responsibilities also include routines, snacks, room arrangements, records, supplies, licensing knowledge, and activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive child-care programs
- Encourage creativity through art, dramatic play, music,



and activity
- Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest
- Discuss children’s progress and problems at staff meetings
- Order supplies and maintain daycare equipment

Requirements:

- Knowledge of licensing regulations
- Experience with children requiring specialized support
- First Aid and CPR certificates
- Solid oral and written communication
- Ability to multitask with judgement and flexibility
