Lead waterfront safety and outdoor recreation programs for children and youth at the Kinark Outdoor Centre. Apply National Lifeguard certification, emergency procedures, and clear communication daily.

Reporting to Program Supervisors, you will interact with children, family members, and group leaders during recreational programming. The work includes specifically monitoring waterfront participants, enforcing KOC safety guidelines, and facilitating activities across multiple seasons. Programs may include swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and stand up paddleboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise staff and clients during waterfront programs
- Enforce safety guidelines across all KOC programs
- Understand and follow KOC emergency procedures




- Facilitate swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding
- Attend and complete all required trainings

Requirements:

- Current National Lifeguard certification
- Standard First Aid and CPR C required
- Wilderness First Aid accepted
- Solid interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
