Lead heavy-duty fleet maintenance at Whitewater Mountain Resort near Nelson, BC, overseeing mechanics, equipment reliability, and protected operations year round. Supervise a specialized mountain fleet while coordinating maintenance schedules, parts, and safety requirements.

This full-time, year-round Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor role reports to the Maintenance Manager. You will lead heavy-duty mechanics, apprentices, and shop hands supporting four Prinoth snow cats, loaders, excavators, snowmobiles, ATVs, and UTVs. The position combines hands-on maintenance oversight with scheduling, budgeting, inventory, documentation, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise mechanics, apprentices, and shop hands
- Schedule daily, weekly, and annual fleet maintenance




- Manage parts inventory and maintenance budget activities
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and training
- Maintain work orders, equipment logs, and reports

Requirements:

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Previous shop experience required
- Ability to work outdoors, weekends, holidays, and on call
