As a Mechanical Designer, you will create equipment designs and support projects from concept through installation. You will collaborate with Project Managers, shop personnel, Innovation, and Manufacturing teams. The work includes conveyors, platforms, structural products, stainless steel components, weldments, and sheet metal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create 3D equipment drawings from layouts, sketches, and notes
- Support custom conveyor, platform, and component projects
- Coordinate with Project Managers and stakeholders throughout projects
- Own projects through design, fabrication, and installation
- Contribute to product development and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Two years of Mechanical Design experience minimum
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D software
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Mechanical Engineering diploma or degree preferred
- Experience with weldments, sheet metal, and stainless steel
