About the Role

Our client is looking for a energetic and proactive Learning & Development Specialist to design, implement, and manage training programs that enhance employee skills and organizational effectiveness. This role is integral to fostering a culture of continuous learning and qualified growth within the company. You will identify training needs, develop curriculum, facilitate workshops (both in-person and virtual), and evaluate the impact of L&D; initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses strong instructional design skills, excellent facilitation abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of adult learning principles. This position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with essential on-site collaboration at our Kimberley, Northern Cape, ZA location. You will play a key role in equipping our workforce with the knowledge and competencies needed to excel in their roles and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across the organization.
- Design and develop engaging training programs, workshops, and learning materials using various methodologies.
- Facilitate training sessions for diverse employee groups, both in-person and virtually.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) for course deployment, tracking, and reporting.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with departmental managers and subject matter experts to ensure training relevance.




- Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in Learning & Development.
- Develop and implement strategies for employee onboarding and ongoing professional development.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and performance-driven organizational culture.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Learning & Development or Training role.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering effective training programs.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
- Experience in performance consulting and needs analysis is highly desirable.
