SolidWorks modeling meets product development in ProMach’s Mechanical Engineering Co-Op, supporting detailed component design and technical engineering projects.
This co-op supports design engineers across product development projects and multiple engineering lifecycle stages. You will create models, prepare drawings, maintain documentation, and coordinate engineering work. The experience includes manufacturing collaboration and varied responsibility aligned with learning goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design engineers on product development projects
- Create 3D CAD models using SolidWorks
- Prepare working drawings and update parts databases
- Maintain SOPs, work instructions, and manual addendums
- Support BOM updates, validation,
and data accuracy
Requirements:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Experience with SolidWorks is a strong asset
- Analytical, inquisitive, and detail-oriented approach
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly
- Skilled, collaborative, and independently organized work style
