Install commercial roofing systems in Dartmouth using built-up, single-ply, and waterproof coating techniques at various physical locations.
This permanent, full time Roofer position covers commercial and residential settings. You will install, repair, and replace roofing systems while working at heights. The work includes sheet metal flashings, scaffolding, waterproof coatings, and supervision of one to two people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install built-up roofing with asphalt felts, hot asphalt, and gravel
- Install single-ply systems using waterproof sheet materials
- Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
- Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or masonry surfaces
- Install sheet metal flashings and working platforms
Requirements:
- Working at heights and Fall Arrest Protection training
- Criminal record check required for employment
- Own transportation and willingness to travel
- Steel-toed safety boots required
- Ability to handle loads up to 23 kilograms
