The Custodian performs wide-ranging duties across school premises, indoors and outdoors. Responsibilities include inspections, safety equipment, supplies, repairs, and event facilities. The position also requires recognizing hazards and reporting major maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform janitorial duties indoors and outdoors as required
Inspect electrical, mechanical, playground, and sports equipment
Maintain safety equipment and follow safety procedures
Order and monitor proper use of custodial supplies
Arrange facility requirements for school events and rentals

Requirements:
Physical ability to perform assigned custodial duties
Knowledge of contemporary cleaning methods and practices
Thorough knowledge of building systems
Ability to recognize safety hazards throughout premises
Criminal Record Check and completed Child Abuse Registry
