This winter seasonal operator position supports highway maintenance from October 1 through April 30. You will operate snowplows, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required. The work also includes labourer duties such as pothole repair, guardrail repair, bridge and signage cleaning, and hazard remediation.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate snowplows, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment
Maintain Ontario Provincial Highways year-round
Assist with pothole and guardrail repairs
Clean bridges and highway signage
Remediate hazards in all weather conditions
Requirements:
Valid AZ or DZ license with air endorsement
Provide a three-year commercial driver’s abstract
Perform physically demanding tasks regularly
Lift 50 pounds, bend, kneel, and crouch
Snowplow truck or wheel loader experience preferred
Bring highway maintenance, heavy equipment operation, and winter driving skills to Ledcor’s Ontario road maintenance teams.
