ParaMed’s full time Speech Language Pathologist provides home care services around Owen Sound, Ontario. The work includes standardized assessments, evidence-based care planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Clients may be recovering from stroke or other neurological problems, with services delivered face to face or virtually outside the region.

Key Responsibilities:
Assess abilities and needs during community and home visits
Conduct speaking and swallowing assessments for adult clients
Design care plans using evidence-based information and guidelines
Collaborate with families, caregivers,

Maintain compliant records for client encounters and service plans

Requirements:
Registration with Ontario’s provincial speech-language pathology college
Licensed applicants, including recent graduates, are accepted
Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Current First Aid and CPR certification within twelve months
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and transparent VSS
