Support industrial automation controls at Heritage by troubleshooting HMI, PLC, and network issues across production and facility equipment. Versatile scheduling includes evenings and weekends.
As an Automation Specialist, you will maintain automated industrial controls and equipment throughout the facility. Your work covers distributed process control, ASRS conveyors, industrial robotics, and related monitoring systems. You will also support equipment modifications, software revisions, and maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot HMI, PLC, Remote IO, VFD, and network issues
Support ASRS conveyor and industrial robotic control systems
Maintain backups, documentation, and synchronized asset repositories
Design AutoCAD electrical schematics for equipment changes
Train maintenance teams and support recent program launches
Requirements:
Diploma in industrial automation or related technical discipline
Industrial electrician or electro-mechanical engineering technologist background
Allen-Bradley certificates would be an asset
Willingness to work evenings and weekends
Ability to meet designated security criteria
Apply industrial controls, troubleshooting, automation maintenance, and technical support expertise across Heritage’s facility systems.
