This graduate position supports municipal, industrial, and private-sector clients across waste management projects. You will develop consulting skills while working with engineers, scientists, and technologists. The hybrid mode combines office collaboration, field activities, and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Support solid waste planning and landfill engineering projects
Contribute to transfer-station and waste facility assessments
Assist with waste diversion and resource recovery initiatives
Participate in environmental monitoring and system improvement
Prepare calculations, records,
and technical documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, geological, or related engineering
Recent graduate with zero to two years relevant experience
Eligibility for Engineer-in-Training registration with APEGA or Engineers and Geoscientists BC
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Western Canada
Build waste management, technical documentation, and consulting skills while contributing to sustainable infrastructure projects with GHD.
