As a Freelance Copyeditor, you will review and adapt U.S. English copy for the French-Canadian market. You will ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, clarity, consistency, and alignment with an iconic technology client’s brand voice. The work spans internal and customer-facing content, multiple channels, and diverse formats.

Key Responsibilities:
Validate content against linguistic standards, brand guidelines, and tone of voice
Review, rework, and approve translation partner copy
Edit subtitles and video content to quality standards
Post-edit machine translations for accuracy, fluency, and tone




Apply cultural insight, transcreation, and linguistic quality assurance

Requirements:
Native French-Canadian speaker based in Canada
Copyediting or subediting experience with marketing and technical materials
Familiarity with U.S. English style, usage, and conventions
Working knowledge of translation and project management tools
Editorial, proofreading, or localization experience is ideal
