As Senior Innovation Manager, you will manage demanding University of Calgary technology portfolios with autonomy. Key Responsibilities:
Identify inventions through grants, seminars, events, and faculty relationships
Assess patentability, market potential, and commercial potential
Develop commercialization, marketing, and intellectual property strategies




Negotiate license and equity agreements with partners

Requirements:
MSc or Ph.D. in a Life Sciences discipline
Three years’ technology transfer or commercialization experience
Experience negotiating and closing large-scale licensing deals
Familiarity with Canadian and United States patent law
Excellent negotiation, project management, and technology marketing skills
