Analyze financial data and reporting for Encore Canada as an Accounting Analyst in a hybrid work setting. Use advanced Excel and ERP systems daily.
Reporting to the Controller, this Accounting Analyst supports accurate, timely financial information for Encore Canada. The position focuses on compensation transactions, payroll accounting, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will partner with Accounting, Finance, Payroll, HR, and Corporate Finance teams while supporting process improvements, system enhancements, and special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze compensation calculations and post transactions into the ERP
Prepare recurring and ad hoc journal entries
Complete month-end accruals, adjustments, and financial analysis
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum three years of accounting or financial reporting experience
Robust understanding of GAAP and reporting processes
Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and Power Query
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
Apply accounting analysis, reconciliations, advanced Excel, and ERP expertise to strengthen Encore Canada financial reporting.
