IPEX seeks a Licensed Millwright, also known as an Industrial Mechanic, for its Mississauga, Ontario operation. The work covers installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment and facilities. Hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, blueprint-reading, and diagnostic skills are central to the position.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Perform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate records
Support shutdowns,
emergency repairs, and equipment recovery
Guide apprentices and helpers when required
Requirements:
Current Ontario or Interprovincial Millwright trade certification
Completed Ontario or Interprovincial apprenticeship program
Manufacturing workplace experience
Robust hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding skills
Comfort working at heights and around industrial machinery
