As a Junior Mechanical Designer, you will support complex mechanical and piping designs for industrial facilities. You will work in 2D and 3D environments, collaborating with engineers, other disciplines, vendors, and customers. Your work will support accurate construction and fabrication drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers and designers with project drawing delivery
- Prepare mechanical layouts and piping isometric drawings
- Develop process and instrumentation control drawings
- Modify drawings and manage revisions accurately
- Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
Requirements:
- One to three years using AutoCAD in mechanical design drafting
- Diploma of Technology in a civil or structural program
- Understanding of construction processes
- Technical competence and robust attention to detail
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
