Develop commercial insurance business in French with CGIC through prospecting, risk assessment, and customized coverage solutions. Work hybrid, with two office days weekly.
As a Commercial Specialist in CGIC’s Quebec Region, you will grow current client relationships and expand the commercial portfolio. You will identify business-market prospects, service clients, assess risks, and present insurance solutions. Your work supports sales, profitability, and growth goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inbound and outbound calls to build sales pipelines
Develop marketing plans promoting commercial insurance offerings
Complete risk assessments and commercial inspections
Review client goals and recommend coverage solutions
Resolve inquiries and escalate complaints when required
Requirements:
Hold a property and casualty insurance license
Bring one year of sales experience
Have required business development experience
Communicate primarily with francophone clients in French
Demonstrate communication and critical thinking skills
Use French communication, business development, and risk assessment skills to expand CGIC’s commercial insurance portfolio across Quebec.
