This Food Service Worker prepares, presents, and serves meals while maintaining food quality and presentation. Duties include preparing produce, carrying food safely, storing items correctly, and setting up daily purchases. The position also provides service throughout retail areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry pans, kettles, and food trays safely
- Set up items for purchase each day
- Use approved recipes and production standards
- Notify cooks when temperatures exceed acceptable limits
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment
Requirements:
- Previous food service experience is an asset
- Healthcare, hotel, restaurant, or quick food experience is an asset
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Physical ability to carry out position duties
- Availability Monday through Friday, 1 to 6 p.m.
