Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited seeks a Grain Originator for its Grain & Crop Inputs Division. You will develop producer and dealer relationships, gather market information, and source grain for export and domestic customer needs. Sales experience, negotiation skills, and robust networking abilities support success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify business opportunities with producers and dealers
Negotiate grain purchase contracts with producers and dealers
Serve as the first contact for grain purchasing and delivery
Meet producers, prospect, nurture relationships,
and collect samples
Update producers and Merchandising on grain market information
Requirements:
Sales experience, preferably within the grain industry
Robust sales techniques and negotiation strategies
Exceptional customer service, networking, and relationship-building skills
Ability to meet sales targets and close deals
Microsoft 365 proficiency, especially Excel, plus driver’s license
