Lead learning services and human resources for School District 84 on Vancouver Island West, primarily onsite with some hybrid flexibility.

As Assistant Superintendent, you will provide district-wide leadership in human resources, student learning, and inclusive education. Reporting to the Superintendent of Schools, you will support strategic planning, staffing alignment, labour relations, curriculum, assessment, and student support services.

Key Responsibilities:
Support district strategic and operational plan implementation
Lead recruitment, retention, labour relations, and accommodations
Guide curriculum, instruction, assessment, and qualified learning
Strengthen inclusive education and coordinated student supports
Advise senior leaders, principals, trustees,



and partners

Requirements:
Valid British Columbia teaching certificate or certification eligibility
Master’s degree in education, leadership, or related field
District leadership and principal experience
Student learning, inclusive education, human resources, and labour relations experience
Valid driver’s licence and district travel ability
