Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this Millwright performs reactive, predictive, and preventative maintenance in a processing setting. The work includes troubleshooting, repairs, installations, modifications, and computer-based workorders. Collaboration with other trades groups supports project assignments while following company policies and safety-first standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out reactive, predictive, and preventative plant equipment maintenance
Troubleshoot and repair breakdown equipment to minimize downtime
Install and modify equipment, repairing parts where necessary
Work effectively without jeopardizing food safety
Collaborate with trades groups on project assignments
Requirements:
Journeyperson millwright ticket, license, or certificate of qualification
Hands-on food industry or high-speed packaging experience preferred
Excellent troubleshooting skills and team-oriented approach
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Communication skills for computer-based workorders
