As a Senior Risk Management Advisor, you support Desjardins entities and their chief risk officers on complex strategic matters. You advance the risk management framework through analysis, governance advice, regulatory coordination, and executive-level recommendations. Your work addresses operational, regulatory, and conceptual challenges across diverse settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consolidated views of financial and non-financial risks
Advise chief risk officers on strategic organisational matters
Prepare meetings with decision-making bodies and regulators
Coordinate statutory and regulatory risk requirements
Monitor mitigation measures and regulatory developments
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum eight years of relevant experience
Risk management experience within three lines of defence
Strategic advisory experience with management and regulators
Solid French and intermediate advanced English proficiency
Apply strategic risk expertise, executive communication, and sound judgement to strengthen Desjardins entities’ financial and non-financial risk management.
