Deliver developmental assessments for children and youth as a Full Time Occupational Therapist with Bethesda Community Services. Apply pediatric clinical expertise across motor, perceptual, and sensory impairments.
Reporting to the Manager of Children’s Services, you will work within a tertiary diagnostic team. The position supports children under 18 when Autism Spectrum Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, or Developmental Disability is suspected or confirmed. Responsibilities include treatment planning, consultation, documentation, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and identify treatment goals, recommendations, and service hours
Present clinical results and reports to caregivers and community partners
Monitor treatment plans and update them as necessary
Provide individual treatment,
coaching, and brief clinical consultation services
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and facilitate community referrals
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
One to three years’ Occupational Therapist experience
Experience with children and adolescents with ASD, DD, or FASD
Valid driver’s license, First Aid, CPR, and NVCI certification
Bring developmental assessment, treatment planning, and cooperative clinical skills to Bethesda’s Children and Youth Services team.
