Compugen seeks a UNIX Midrange Support specialist for a 12 month onsite contract in Regina. The work includes Linux and AIX administration, operating system support, incident resolution, patching, and maintenance. You will also document technical work and perform operational tasks with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
Configure and administer Linux and AIX servers
Support and troubleshoot UNIX and Linux operating systems
Monitor servers and analyze performance
Perform operating system patching, maintenance, and upgrades
Resolve production incidents and problems

Requirements:
Experience managing capacity, availability, and performance
Knowledge of backup and recovery concepts
Technical documentation experience
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Computer Engineering or Computer Science degree preferred
