Provide long-term care nursing and staff supervision as a Registered Practical Nurse at St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph. Apply assessment, medication, and leadership skills.

This full time Registered Practical Nurse position supports clients on a designated unit. You will provide care, direct PSWs and support services, and follow SJHCG policies, procedures, and values. The work includes supporting older adults with medical and psychiatric needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to clients on a designated unit
Supervise and direct PSWs, clerks, and support services
Assess clients and document significant condition changes
Administer medications and monitor therapeutic interventions
Develop, update, and evaluate client care plans

Requirements:
Registered Practical Nurse registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Positive standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Minimum one year preferred long-term care experience
Solid organizational, planning, time management, and multitasking skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

Use nursing assessment, therapeutic interventions, and staff direction to support quality care for older adults at SJHCG.
