This experienced Intermediate to Senior Electrical Estimator strengthens Houle's Pre-construction team. The work covers quantity take-offs, supplier pricing, quotations, tenders, and project cost analysis. Estimates support industrial, commercial, healthcare, infrastructure, higher education, and multi-use residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimate project costs and assemble quantity take-offs
Develop quotations for $1M to $100M opportunities
Prepare supplier and subcontractor quotation requests
Proofread estimates against scopes and specifications
Draft proposals and submit specialized tenders
Requirements:
Five-plus years estimating electrical construction work
Relevant Electrical TQ, field experience, AScT, E.I.T., or P.Eng.
Understanding of electrical tendering and Bid Depository regulations
Knowledge of Accubid and LiveCount estimating software
Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs;
Apply electrical estimating, tendering, and cost-analysis expertise to support Houle's major construction prospects across British Columbia.
