Support medication distribution and sterile preparation as a Pharmacy Technician at BCHS, serving Brantford General Hospital and The Willett in Paris.

Reporting to the Director, Pharmacy, you will provide hospital pharmacy services across medication distribution, order entry, dispensing, checking, and delivery. The work also includes manufacturing and sterile product preparation, including chemotherapy. BCHS seeks a registered pharmacy skilled with computerized pharmacy experience, medication safety knowledge, and robust communication skills. This position requires working two weekends per month.

Key Responsibilities:
Complete medication distribution services, including order entry
Dispense, check, and deliver medications
Manufacture sterile products,



including chemotherapy preparations
Prepare intravenous products within pharmacy services
Work two weekends each month

Requirements:
Registration by the Ontario College of Pharmacists
Experience in a computerized pharmacy workplace
Understanding of medication safety and quality assurance
Critical thinking and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently and within interprofessional teams
