This Senior Mechanical Engineer develops and validates mechanical powertrain systems, including engines, transmissions, and driveline components. The position requires automotive industry experience, solid mechanical engineering principles, and advanced analysis capability. You will support performance, efficiency, and durability through integrated engineering work.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead mechanical powertrain component and system design
Create three-dimensional models using CATIA V5 or Siemens NX
Perform stress, thermal, vibration, and other FEA analyses
Develop test plans and oversee validation activities
Ensure designs comply with automotive standards and regulations
Requirements:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
At least eight years of mechanical engineering experience
Solid automotive powertrain systems experience
Advanced CAD and CAE proficiency, including FEA and CFD
Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and solid mechanics
Apply senior mechanical engineering expertise to automotive powertrain design, analysis, validation, performance, efficiency, and durability.
