The Databricks DataOps / SRE Engineer supports production data operations for one of Avanciers Incorporated’s clients. Apply hands-on expertise in Databricks Jobs, Workflows, Spark execution, Azure Data Factory, and SQL. Investigate failures, cluster issues, performance bottlenecks, and data processing errors while maintaining operational documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support Azure Databricks production environments and troubleshoot pipelines
- Monitor jobs, workflows, clusters, and data processing activity
- Investigate failures, performance bottlenecks, and processing errors




- Develop Python and shell scripts for operational automation
- Prepare runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and incident documentation

Requirements:

- Strong hands-on Azure Databricks production support experience
- Expertise in Databricks Jobs, Workflows, Spark, Data Factory, and SQL
- Experience with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Knowledge of incident management and root-cause analysis
- ServiceNow, SRE practices, SLI/SLO concepts, or Azure DevOps preferred
