Maintain a protected, welcoming facility as a Facility Cleaner specializing in detailed floor care and sanitation. Work Team 2 shifts from 06:00 to 18:10.
This Facility Cleaner role supports a growing BC business and leading Canadian nutritional supplement manufacturer. You will maintain manufacturing, warehouse, office, washroom, and exterior areas. The work includes floor machines, buffers, blowers, and washing machines. Attention to detail, organization, physical capability, and WHMIS knowledge are central requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and auto scrub floor types
- Wash, buff, and wax facility floors
- Empty garbage, recycling, and cardboard bins
- Clean exterior grounds thoroughly
- Complete additional cleaning and disinfecting as needed
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail across maintained areas
- Organizational skills for changing daily priorities
- Capability to perform physically demanding hands-on work
- Ability to operate floor and washing machinery
- Sound knowledge of WHMIS policies and procedures
