Lead Canada Post service in Lakeside, Nova Scotia, using retail sales and team supervision to support the local community. This full time permanent position works 40 hours weekly.

As Postmaster, you report to the Superintendent/Local Area Manager and represent Canada Post across the community service area. You promote postal products, administer post office operations, manage revenue and supervise staff. The position requires public-facing retail experience, leadership and mail service knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

- Liaise with the local community about Canada Post services
- Promote postal products to public and business customers
- Administer operations, retail hours and delivery expectations
- Manage postal revenue, assets and values
- Supervise, train and assess staff performance

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or provincial equivalency
- Experience leading and directing teams
- Retail or service experience with sales and cash transactions
- Knowledge of mail processing regulations and procedures
- Ability to lift mail containers weighing up to 50 pounds
