As a Senior Applied Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Scientist, you will shape Faire’s next-generation Search engine. Apply query understanding, dense vector retrieval, personalization embeddings, and multi-stage ranking. Own search components from problem framing through production code, experimentation, and roadmap decisions. Your work connects retailer needs with technical choices across wholesale discovery.

Key Responsibilities:
Integrate LLMs, retrieval, ranking, and reinforcement learning
Own search components from framing through production
Design experiments and ship models to live traffic




Serve personalized product feeds below 100 milliseconds
Improve team practices through reviews and post-mortems

Requirements:
Three-plus years building production machine learning systems
Experience in search, recommendations, or retrieval relevance
Knowledge of dual encoders, ANN serving, or learning-to-rank
Strong Python and production engineering skills
Transparent communication and excellent product judgment
