This Consultant Production Application Support position handles complex production problems, outages, and service requests. You will partner with application owners, business teams, technology partners, senior management, and vendors. The role also contributes to prevention, monitoring, and service improvement across supported applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and resolve complex production problems and system outages
Analyze service requests for adherence to standards and processes
Monitor supported services and recommend improvement solutions
Investigate recurrence causes and implement preventive solutions
Maintain procedures and approaches for specific operational situations
Requirements:
Knowledge of critical enterprise applications, middleware, structure, and operations
Unix or Linux administration and scripting experience
Windows administration and PowerShell experience
Experience supporting production twenty-four hours, seven days rotationally
GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Azure SQL exposure is an asset
Use incident management, production troubleshooting, and service monitoring skills to help CIBC maintain reliable application operations.
