Apply soil mechanics and foundation design knowledge as a Geotechnical Engineer in Training, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams under experienced Qualified Engineers.

This full time position supports wide-ranging Geotechnical Engineering projects while developing technical expertise toward skilled licensure. You will work with soil and rock mechanics, slope stability, site investigation, engineering software, and relevant codes. TBT Engineering supports technical growth through mentorship and practical project involvement.

Key Responsibilities:
Participate in geotechnical design and analysis activities
Interpret borehole drilling and laboratory testing investigations
Support design development, construction review, and project coordination
Prepare and verify reports, calculations,



and deliverables
Conduct fieldwork, inspections, testing, and technical investigations

Requirements:
Civil Engineering degree from an accredited Canadian university
Strong technical skills in Geotechnical Engineering
Understanding of codes, standards, regulations, and engineering software
Field experience considered an asset
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered

Develop practical geotechnical solutions through fieldwork, analysis, reporting, and mentorship while advancing toward professional engineering licensure.
