Lead IRATA Level 3 rope access work with Echo NDE at client sites throughout Alberta, applying advanced rescue and rigging expertise. Echo NDE seeks an experienced IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician for project-based industrial work. You will support inspections, maintenance, repairs, and specialized trade work at height. The role emphasizes safety, quality, client focus, and leadership while using NDT, welding, coatings, electrical, or other trade expertise. Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs using rope access methods Plan secure rigging setups meeting site and IRATA requirements Conduct hazard assessments, toolbox meetings,
and rescue planning Mentor and evaluate Level 1 and Level 2 technicians Maintain documentation and perform emergency response procedures Requirements:
Valid IRATA Level 3 certification in good standing Minimum two years industrial IRATA Level 3 experience Standard First Aid certification and valid driver’s license Strong rigging, hauling, maneuver, and advanced rescue knowledge Leadership, communication, safety, and independent problem-solving skills Bring advanced rope access, rescue, rigging, and leadership capabilities to Echo NDE projects across Alberta.
