Provide person-centred postpartum nursing care using assessment and clinical judgment in an acute care setting within the RPN scope.

This Registered Practical Nurse position supports patients with varying health needs in a rapidly changing practice setting. You will work independently and interdependently within an interprofessional healthcare team. Collaboration with Registered Nurses supports care for patients with complex issues and less predictable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify patient and family needs through care processes
Complete assessments and continuously reassess patient care
Plan and implement evidence-based nursing interventions
Evaluate patient outcomes and the patient experience




Support quality improvement and reflective skilled practice

Requirements:
Current unrestricted Ontario RPN registration in good standing
Current Heart and Stroke Foundation CPR certification
RPN diploma and acute care experience preferred
Demonstrated critical-thinking and decision-making skills
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills

Use person-centred assessment, intervention, and collaboration skills to deliver secure, ethical care within the RPN scope.
