As a Backend Engineer, you will develop and evolve services powering a widely used software development platform. You will work with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Go, APIs, background jobs, data models, and automated testing. Your work will support secure, scalable, maintainable, and observable backend systems for millions of users.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver repository backend features through production follow-up
Build services using Ruby, Rails, Go, or up-to-date languages
Develop APIs, background jobs, integrations, and modular components
Optimize data models, migrations, indexes, and query performance




Monitor production issues and participate in operational support

Requirements:
Qualified experience delivering production-grade backend services
Solid programming, API, database, testing, debugging, and optimization fundamentals
Experience with Ruby, Rails, Go, or another backend language
Ability to manage features from clarification through deployment
Experience with Git workflows, reviews, and automated testing
