Coordinate TTC procurement activities using contract administration and analytical skills in an in office, temporary position supporting subway operations.

Reporting to the Production Controller, you will support the acquisition of materials, equipment, and services for subway vehicles, shop equipment, and surface track infrastructure. The Purchasing Coordinator manages contracts from tendering and vendor selection through award and administration. Success requires purchasing knowledge, vendor management, communication, and organized planning.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer pre-award and post-award section-specific contracts
Monitor contract changes, expenditures, deliveries, and vendor performance
Expedite products and services for timely delivery
Develop alternate supply sources and reduce purchasing costs




Prepare procurement, awards, claims, inventory, and compliance reports

Requirements:
Related college diploma, university degree, or equivalent education and experience
Knowledge of purchasing, contract administration, and materials management
Understanding of public bidding, evaluation, negotiation, and contract awards
Solid analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Valid Ontario G licence and personal vehicle required
