Provide paediatric emergency care at Hospital for Sick Children across all zones, treating CTAS 3–5 patients as a direct care provider.
This position supports emergency patients with common paediatric medical, surgical, and trauma cases. You will work under staff physician supervision and review cases with that physician. Independence depends on case mix and acuity.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide emergency medical care to paediatric patients
Work across all emergency care zones
Directly care for CTAS 3–5 patients
Manage common medical, surgical, and trauma cases
Review cases with supervising staff physicians
Requirements:
PGY 3 or 4 in emergency medicine or paediatrics
Successful completion of PALS
Availability for multiple shift lengths
Availability for weekday and weekend shifts
Bring paediatric emergency medicine training and PALS certification to patient care at Hospital for Sick Children.
