Lead Stantec’s Atlantic Canada Aquatic team through people leadership, project management, and technical excellence. Work from an Atlantic office at least three days weekly.

This midlevel manager guides freshwater, estuarine, and marine environmental work across regional offices. You will support aquatic habitat assessments, monitoring, environmental assessments, permitting, and ecosystem studies. The position combines coaching, resource coordination, client relationships, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day leadership supporting engagement, development, and retention
Coach team members through career planning and mentorship
Coordinate resources for project backlog and business development
Resolve personnel, resourcing, and project-related issues proactively




Contribute technical expertise to aquatic environmental projects

Requirements:
Degree or diploma in biology, aquatic sciences, or related discipline
Five-plus years of consulting or related aquatic science experience
People leadership, project management, or team coordination experience
Familiarity with project management, HSSE, and QA/QC processes
Robust communication, organization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
